See You Next Week

  • Magellan Cross
  • Top - highest point in Cebu
  • Lapu-Lapu Mactan's SUTUKIL
  • Larsian's Barbecue Stalls
  • Chinese Taoist Temple
  • Bantayan Island and Malapascua
  • Lapu-lapu Shrine
  • Fort San Pedro
  • Basilica de Sto. Niño
  • Carbon Market

Kaya next week see you again Cebu for the second time and hello Bohol.

Caravan of Fun

Just from the recently concluded AAP Lakbay Caravan that held in Clark Pampanga and Subic Zambales last Saturday, May 29 was a huge success. From almost two weeks of preparations the organizers manage to get a total participants of 24 car owners, which composed of more than 100 of people, and associations of vintage cars also participated in the event.

The event would not be possible without the help of the sponsors like Aeromed, Total Philippines Corp. and Whites and Greens Resort of Bohol.

Registration and assembly for the event was in front of Quirino Grandstand in Luneta and kick-off at around 7am.

Before the caravan proceed on the first itinerary, the convoy stops at Total Gas Station at Candaba for almost 30 minutes.

First itinerary was in Clark Museum also known for Museo ng Kapampangan.

Sir Jojit and Randy Set-up the tarp outside the Clark Museum

Some of the collections of the Clark Museum from past to present

 Terrain Model of Mount Pinatubo
Clark was one of the most affected areas during the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo

Before we proceed to our next destination the caravan pass-by the Parade Ground, Barn Houses, Calvary Monument, Flagpole/Memorial Stones, Fort Stotsenburg posts and DMIA terminal also in Clark.

AAP Labay Caravan Delegates at the New Nayong Pilipino.

Young participants join the native Ifugao dancing.

This Aeta kids were busy in doing some broomstick.

We just lasted for only 30mins in Nayong Pilipino because we are going to be late for the next itinerary. We didn't have a chance to see more on Colonial Era of the facility. But for me the old Nayong Pilipino in Pasay is much more better . : )

At Paradise Ranch and Zoocobia

Feeding time its lunch already.

The participants and organizers had their lunch before we proceed to Subic Zambales. Its about 2 hours drive and almost 50+ kilometers from Clark to Subic.

First stop in Subic was in Subic Bay Convention and Exhibition Center.

AAP Director Mina Gabor had her small talk on the future endeavors of Subic
as well as the itinerary for the afternoon trip.

After the talk and short lecture on the history and progress of Subic the carvan  take a tour around the Subic Bay Area seeing the improvements of the facilities. The caravan pass-by the Subic Golf, Subic housing, Pamulaklakin Forest trail, Subic Techno Park, etc.

Take a peak on one of the largest bat colony

This primate was trying  to calm-down.
At the Subic Boardwalk wrapping-up the event.

I salute to the women of AAP namely, Ayen and Jhez of Corporate Communications, Vanessa of Tourism, the Sales Supervisor Ms. Tin and Membership Services Manager Ms. Necy Zornosa. Because without them the event wouldn't be that successful.

And for me I had fun and I had my fair share. Thanks for including me to be part of this caravan.
